Introduction

This article walks you through switching your LG TV's network connection between wired and wireless setups and shows you how to find the MAC Address if needed.

Instruction

  1. Wired Connection

    1. Press the button with the gear icon on the LG remote.

    2. Navigate to "General" in the settings menu.

    3. Select "Network."

    4. Select "Wired Connection."

    5. Ensure you've connected an Ethernet cable to your TV.

    6. Once connected, press the home button, then select "Signagelive" from the menu under Contents Management to play your desired content.

  2. Wireless Connection

    1. Press the gear icon button on your LG remote.

    2. Go to "General" in the settings.

    3. Select "Network."

    4. Choose "Wi-Fi Connection."

    5. Select your wireless network.

    6. Enter the network password.

    7. Once connected, you'll see a checkmark next to the network.

    8. Press the home button and choose "Signagelive" to start displaying content.

  3. MAC Address

    1. Follow the steps for Wireless Connection.

    2. After connecting to the network, go to "Advanced Wi-Fi Settings."

    3. The MAC Address is located at the bottom of the IP information.

Additional Tips & Best Practices

  1. Wired connections are generally more reliable than wireless ones.
